Harvard Sues Trump Administration Over ‘Improper Government Intrusion,’ With Billions at Stake

From The Chronicle: “Harvard University sued the Trump administration … alleging that a decision to freeze billions of dollars in research grants over antisemitism concerns violated the First Amendment and a range of federal laws and regulations. It’s the first time a university has brought a legal challenge after being singled out by President Trump. Harvard’s complaint, filed in U.S. District Court in Massachusetts, argues that the First Amendment does not allow the federal government to force a private university to adopt a particular ideological agenda.”
