  • Kiosk Launches New Ecommerce Site for Superfood Brand Nutiva

    Kiosk has created a shiny new website for pioneering Bay Area superfood brand Nutiva. In doing so, we provided Nutiva with a mobile-friendly, responsive-design make over, and the technology solutions required to ensure a smoother shopping and check-out experience for fans of best-selling Nutiva products like Organic Virgin Coconut Oil.

    Bay Area based company Nutiva is an innovator in the development of popular products derived from organic superfoods like coconut oil and hemp. As with many innovative brands, the periodic introduction of new product lines resulted in an inconsistent web experience, built on legacy web technology.

    Kiosk took a comprehensive approach to relaunching Nutiva’s online presence. Kiosk’s Senior Designer and Developer Amy Laun explains, “We explored content strategy and user journeys for a better user experience, and redesigned the site to better showcase the mouth watering visual appeal of Nutiva’s products and recipes. But a great ecommerce website is about more than looking good. It has to help the client sell more product. By leveraging design and web development in concert, we were able to deliver a site for Nutiva that delivers on every level.”

    As Kiosk’s Technical Director Matt Roberts explains, “Outdated technology robs brands of the benefits of data optimization. We audited Nutiva’s existing technology stack, consolidated three separate shopping carts onto a single e-commerce platform and directly integrated that platform with Nutiva’s ERP software.

    In doing so we eliminated the client’s need to manually reconcile all systems, a time consuming and error prone process. The result is a streamlined experience both for the customer, who interacts with a beautifully designed and modern site on a cutting edge platform, and for the client, who now has a more complete, near-real time view of their business.”

    Reflecting Nutiva’s own commitment to sustainability, we also delivered a site that is easier for Nutiva to update in-house, providing more flexibility for their content team, and relevance for their customers.
