Kiosk Collects Mobile Web Award for littleBits Website

Our new website for electronic building blocks brand littleBits made the spotlight in the 2018 Mobile Web Awards, winning Best Toy & Hobby Mobile Website in the annual Web Marketing Association overview of mobile websites and apps.

Kiosk transitioned littleBits from a legacy website to a mobile-first marketing and eCommerce destination. The new site is designed to better showcase littleBits’ product range, allow for regular A/B testing of content, and provide their key audiences of parents and educators with distinct content experiences across a range of web platforms.

Kiosk Senior Designer and Web Developer Kristina Gudgel notes, “littleBits is an innovative brand, and innovation presents its own design challenges. We had to design for a variety of different user experiences, from explaining what the product is to helping gift-buyers select the right littleBits kit for their kids. There was a lot to fit within the confines of a mobile screen, while staying true to the look, feel and personality of the brand.

“We spent a lot of time engaging with the littleBits team to understand their goals and translate them into a website that’s both fun and functional. Receiving a Mobile Web Award is a reflection of the hard work that everyone put into the project, both at Kiosk and at littleBits.”

“littleBits products are exciting, inspiring and educational for young inventors. We needed a web presence that would excite and inspire parents, teachers and other adults supporting and influencing the young change makers of tomorrow. We’re happy to say Kiosk was up to the challenge and worked diligently and collaboratively to meet our goals,” notes littleBits product manager Katie Furr.
