Halloween at Kiosk Takes a Turn for the Strange
Did Kiosk designer Amy Laun sweep the annual office Halloween costume contest as the enigmatic, Eggo waffle-eating Eleven? Stranger Things have happened. While Amy went contemporary pop-culture with her portrayal of the girl with a pink dress and psychic powers, our Portland-based duo, Matt and Renea, shot back as 80’s painting icon Bob Ross, alongside a leafy Autumn painting. For their artistic efforts, they were voted runners up.
Spotted elsewhere in the office, Hillary Clinton lobbying for votes, Cubs and Warriors fans, a not-too-creepy clown, Adele, a human Ramen packet, Breaking Bad Santa and other costumed Kiosk staffers. One office pizza party later, we made a “participation bonus” donation of $600 to Homeward Bound of Marin, the charity Kiosk supports year-round through a variety of team participation events.
