Kiosk brings Affirm travel promo to Times Square and beyond

With people starting to consider post-pandemic travel plans, Affirm, the payment network that empowers consumers and helps merchants drive growth, unveiled a new campaign to help make post-pandemic travel accessible and affordable.

Kiosk’s media team was tasked with supporting Affirm’s Travel Pass Giveaway using digital and high-visibility out-of-home media to drive engagement. The contest invited consumers to submit photos of their favorite travel memories and be entered to win $5,000 toward their next vacation. 

The contest was designed to provide travelers with vacation inspiration, courtesy of film star and travel enthusiast Henry Golding, actress Nina Dobrev and supermodel and entrepreneur Ashley Graham, all of whom featured in the campaign creative developed by Kiosk. 

Our integrated media campaign included a major out-of-home buy in New York, with thousands of placements in high-pedestrian traffic areas including NYC’s iconic Times Square and transit stations including Grand Central Station. The campaign generated hundreds of millions of estimated impressions for Affirm.

We supported the program with an on-site partnership with Tripadvisor and prospecting and retargeting campaigns amplifying the contest across a range of travel-related programmatic and contextual display placements. 

Well-targeted social placements across Facebook, Instagram and Pinterest drove engagement, with click-through rates exceeding financial services benchmarks.

The contest generated thousands of entries and delivered significant numbers of new customers inspired to make a purchase with Affirm.
