At Kiosk, we like to think we offer our team a great working environment, from our bright and airy offices in downtown Novato, to our regular staff socials, which take us to places like the Marin Bocce Federation, Kitchen on Fire in Berkeley and the San Francisco Cheese School.

We’re a little competitive about things like Halloween, and happy to work as a team when it comes to being a socially responsible company. For us, that means supporting Homeward Bound of Marin in various ways through the year, including volunteering and entering a team in the Marin Human Race. And while these are visible things we can point to, we think our people-friendly worldview is reflected in plenty of smaller ways, everyday.

Having noted all this, we’re proud to say that for the fourth year in a row, Kiosk features as one of the North Bay Business Journal’s Best Places to Work (based on anonymous employee surveys). It’s the kind of recognition that tells us we’re doing things right.

Representing Kiosk at the Business Journal’s awards gala were the dapper duo of Creative Director Mannie Rabara and Designer & Developer Kristina Gudgel. Their feedback? Even amongst other Best Place to Work winners, Kiosk’s “work from home Friday” policy turned heads and drew admiring glances. It is, we must admit, a popular option we offer our staff. We like to think that Monday through Thursday are pretty good days to be part of Team Kiosk too.
