Google Goes In-Browser with New AdWords Report Editor

Google’s recently launched Report Editor is an in-browser tool that allows advertisers and their SEM managers to engage with performance data using multidimensional tables and charts. What does this mean for SEM managers? More focus on insights, less time wasted downloading and sharing spreadsheets.

Over the next few months, account managers will start to see this tool roll out as a Reports tab in the AdWords interface. With a drag and drop interface, this new AdWords feature lets users make pivot tables and customized charts on the fly, filtering, sorting and visualizing data in-browser. This improved workflow has been teased for some time now, and is a feature that SEM managers will be excited to get their hands on.

For businesses that rely on SEM to drive sales, enrollments and acquisitions, the good news is that Google continues to innovate with the AdWords platform, empowering SEM managers to focus on identifying insights, creating strategies and making data meaningful for clients.
